Axiom Construction Group (ACG) was founded by Jerome Hunt in 2024. After working in the construction industry for decades—from the field to top-level executive positions—he set out on his own to build something greater. With a clear vision, a relentless drive, and a small group of highly-skilled craftsmen, Jerome built a successful construction company from the ground up in just a few short months.

Jerome Hunt | President

I can best describe myself as a man who knows what he wants, and I have always had a clear vision of creating my own success. Raised an Army brat, I became accustomed to hardship, deep pain, and change. I’ve overcome incredible obstacles in my life, but, thankfully, I’ve always seen them as opportunities. This has driven me to learn and grow at an accelerated pace my entire life.
I attended college while also running a small concrete business of my own and raising my infant son, Miles. He’s a 6’2” man now, and he is my best friend. I also have a wonderful teenage daughter, Regan, and the best wife, Payton.
Throughout my career, I’ve owned and operated multiple construction businesses, and I quickly worked my way to achieving the title of President and ownership stake in my last position at a well-established company.
As a thirty five year old husband, father of two, entrepreneur, and avid outdoorsman, I focus on what I can control. I build real relationships with people and deliver value and true transparency. I envision a company based on two principles - honesty and pride.
Shannon Bultje | Lead Superintendent

Shannon is an invaluable asset to our team, bringing a wealth of industry expertise and decades of hands-on experience across all facets of construction. Known for his stellar leadership skills and approachable demeanor, Shannon has built a reputation as someone who is not only hardworking and reliable but also genuinely likable—a true team player who earns the respect of everyone he works with.
As our Lead Superintendent, Shannon manages onsite operations, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the success of every project. In addition, he is committed to fostering the growth of our team by overseeing the training and development of our workforce, ensuring that every team member has the tools and knowledge needed to excel.

Chad Pater | Project Manager & Estimator

Chad Pater has 20 years of leadership experience in civil work and logistics. Chad is a details guy and is known as “Jonny on the spot” around here. He is as reliable and trustworthy as it gets — the embodiment of our core values.
I’ve worked with Chad for 8 years, and come hell or high water, he was always the first man on the job site. And usually the last to leave, too. He’s certainly the most organized man I know.
Chad’s focused approach to estimating and design is a strong link in our chain of success.
Payton Hunt | Creative Director

Yes, this is one of those family companies where my wife works seven days a week right there along side me. Believe it or not, we think it’s fun.
After business school, she cut her teeth marketing herself and learning the intricacies of running her own business. As a matter of fact, when I first saw her at a Scooter’s Coffee years ago, she was studying a set of blue prints, and I just had to meet her. The rest is history.
Payton built this entire website in one day. She does everything from drone operation to project engineering. She is a no nonsense type and the most honest person I know.
